Make Sure Airside Gates Latch Shut
Check airside gates fully close and latch behind you – re-enter the PIN if needed – to keep the apron secure from unauthorised access.

Whenever you enter or leave the apron, check the airside access gate has fully closed and latched behind you. Gates left partially open compromise airfield security and can allow unauthorised access to the apron.
Take a moment to look back and confirm the gate has completely latched before you continue on your way. You may need to re-enter the PIN code to get the gate to latch properly.
