Check the Aircraft Documents Before Flight
A pre-flight covers exterior, interior and documents – confirm all required documents, including a complete flight manual, are on board before 'preflight completed'.

Always begin every flight with a thorough pre-flight inspection. A good pre-flight covers three areas: exterior, interior and documents.
For documents, make sure all legally required aircraft documentation is on board before flight. This includes confirming the flight manual is on board and complete, with no missing pages.
Documents are sometimes removed from the aircraft for various reasons, so don't assume they're there. Remember that the first item in your pre-start checks is "preflight completed" – and that includes confirming all required documents are on board.
